Whats 1 good nonpainful discipline strat

A

Think negatively about the “bad thing” or about “not doing the good thing”. Make it so disobeying = your life is ruined.

Eg. If you fap to corn = youll never have sex again, relationship ruined. Bc it kills sex drive for 7 days, and youll do it again after 2-3 days max always.

Caveat, only works if you think the bad action is DEATH. If the good is Life Winning thats good too

Whats an extra step you must do in “think badly about thing to avoid it” strat, else it loses almost all effectiveness

A

Being CONVINCED that it destroys your ENTIRE life. Not just “oh noes its bad bad!” because you can reason your way out of that.

The only way to make this strat truly always work, is to KNOW it destroys your Entire life, on a deep level. You cannot believe its a lie else it doesnt work.

You can do this kinda easily by setting super high goals, and assuming the worst of future. Like “to win at life i must win in 15 days, bc everyone who succeeds did it in that time. If i cant i lose”. Basically setting a high af goal, and a high af condition else instant loss.

But yea. Basically believe its death. Dont reason is it good or bad, no thats not it, find 1 way why its death.
Literally dont need to reason abt anything else, u can even reason its good sides to justify the addiction, but as long as its death, you wont do it.
