what is this act about
A
this act is concerned with the equal treatment of disabled people and makes discrimination illegal against disabled people solely on the basis of their disability

4 mains criteria for disability
A
- physical= medical evidence is require for this
- ability to carry out daily activities= one will experience difficult with things such as mobility continence, memory, speech etc..
- substansial adverse effect= means the impairment must be more than minor, and may get worse over time

A
an explorer is considered to have discriminated against a disabled person if he/she is treated less favourably than non-disabled people.
employers are required to make reasonable adjustments to the working environments to enable disabled people to work
