Diphenhydramine MOA
Allergic reaction/anphylaxis-H1 R antagonist blocks histamine binding to endothelial cell receptors, decreases vascular permeability and vasodialation
Dystonic reactions- ACh-R antagonist supresses central cholinergic activity and inhibits dopamine reuptake- prolongs action of dopamine and restores cholinergic/ dopaminergic balance in basal ganglia

Onset 10-15 (IV) 15-30 (PO) 20-30 (IM)
Duration 6-8 hours
