- The efficient functioning of the body and its systems e.g. immune system, skeletal system, respiratory system.
- The capacity to complete physical daily tasks with ease e.g. walk up stairs, carry groceries, vacuum.

- The ability to form meaningful and satisfying relationships with others.
- The ability to adapt appropriately to social situations.

- The ability to think clearly and process information.
- Includes having low levels of stress and anxiety, high levels of optimism, confidence and self esteem.

- The ability to express feelings in an appropriate way; appropriate management and expression of emotional actions and reactions e.g. reasonable to be sad if pet passes away.
- The ability to display resilience e.g. overcome disagreement with a friend.

- Ideals, beliefs and values that arise in the minds of conscious human beings.
- Having a sense of belonging and/or connection e.g. shared values within a community or group
- Having a sense of purpose e.g. parent caring for a child
