Positive
Make sure you have a positive digital presence. Is what you are posting helpful and encouraging? Avoid posting or contributing to negative comments. Treat everyone and everything with respect.
Permission
Do you have permission to view or share this content online? Always make sure that you have permission to use material that you are posting on the web.
Professionalism
Is what you are viewing or sharing professional? Is the picture you posted something you want the rest of the world to see? Will that post seem appropriate to a current or future employer?
Permanence
Everything you post online is permanent and can’t be deleted.

A digital footprint is the information about a person that is on the internet as a result of their technology usage.

A digital footprint can include things such as emails you’ve written and sent, pictures you’ve posted, social media posts, and videos watched.

With online learning, typically you first log onto the main academic site where you will find the actual course. You might then look at other academic and trustworthy sources while researching material. In addition, your instructor might ask you to watch videos or listen to podcasts on the topic you are learning about.

A platform in e-learning is the set of interactive digital services that provide students and teachers with information, tools, and resources needed to support online education.
What are things you should do when you start online learning?
