How is offending behaviour acquired
A
- Process of learning through interactions with significant others
- Criminality arises from two factors:
- learnt attitudes towards crime
- earning of specific criminal acts

How are criminal attitudes learnt
A
- When socialising will be exposed to attitudes towards law
- Some will be pro-crime/ anti-crime
- When pro-criminal attitudes outweigh the anti-criminal attitudes they will go on to offend
- Same visa-versa
- Possible to predict if will offend if knowledge of frequency, intensity and duration of which they have been expose to one or the other type of value
