A
  1. Process of learning through interactions with significant others
  2. Criminality arises from two factors:
    - learnt attitudes towards crime
    - earning of specific criminal acts

How are criminal attitudes learnt

A
  1. When socialising will be exposed to attitudes towards law
  2. Some will be pro-crime/ anti-crime
  3. When pro-criminal attitudes outweigh the anti-criminal attitudes they will go on to offend
  4. Same visa-versa
  5. Possible to predict if will offend if knowledge of frequency, intensity and duration of which they have been expose to one or the other type of value
