What are the differentials of abdominal pain?
A
• Miscarriage
• Ectopic pregnancy
• Placental abruption
N.B. Pre-eclampsia can be another cause if its severe form i.e. HELLP syndrome, which will present with RUQ pain

What are the differentials of PV bleeding before birth?
A
• Miscarriage
• Etopic pregnancy
• Placenta praevia
• Vasa praevia
• Placental abruption (if not concealed)

What are the differentials of PV bleeding after birth?
A
4 T’s:
• Tone - Uterine atony – Most common cause
• Trauma e.g. perineal tear
• Tissue - Retained placenta
• Thrombin - Coagulopathy
