Q

What’s the difference between the particles in clay and sand soil?

A

In sandy soil the particles are large and spaced out as they contain lots of air so water flows freely and this would make the soil dry whereas clay soil the particles are small and clumped together so water can’t flow as free. This would make the soil appear more wet and sticky.
