Carron’s Model

A
  • Involves all environmental, personal, team and leadership factors to create perfect group cohesion.
  • Environmental factors = binds members to a team through things like: contracts, location and age.
  • Personal factors = Characteristics members believe are important. Coaches should allow team to have social gatherings to build group cohesion.
  • Team factors = Each members role and ability, what there long-term and short-term goals are.
  • Leadership factors = The behaviour of the leaders and coaches of the group, coaches should use a variety of leadership behaviours to influence different individuals.
