1. Have plant operator check out generator
2. Go to diesel generator screen on DCS and start generator, adjust hertz as needed by the frequency adjuster and observe volt meter to confirm it has started
3. Operator will check generator
4. Compare phases, make sure they are close
5. Select G4H breaker and start synch scope, make sure scope is turning slowly in a clockwise direction, compare incoming and running voltages
6. Close in G4H just before scope reaches midnight
7. Using load adjuster increase load to 50 KW while adjusting vars to maintain 0 vars
8. Increase load to 400KW while adjusting vars
