Red Light- Charging
Amber Light - Charging is on; no batteries connected
Flashing Amber- a faulty or over charged battery
What do you do if the DIDSON sonar has less than 1 hour remaining on the batteries? More than 1 hour?
How long do you charge batteries for during the Quarterly Inspection?
Run sonar to 1 hour if “time remaining” is greater than 1 hour
If “time remaining” is less than 1 hour charge batteries
30 Minutes
How long can the DIDSON run for while on surface?
NO more than 30 minutes; overheating may result and equipment damage
To view captured images on a PC from the DIDSON what do you need?
The PC must have the DIDSON topside software installed
