How would you describw the lesion in this case?
what is the cause of this finding?
Hyperechoic (line, then a shadow behind it)
cause: mineralisation (but could be gas, FB, bone avulsion) (depends on level of lameness and history of trauma)

line: surface of the proximal sesamoid bone
soft tisuse: lateral susspensory branch

No significant findings during palpation of the hind limbs

Susspensory:
Right - Susspensory ligament has expanded on the dorsal surface
longitudinal scanning: (see picture), right is bigger and loss of paralelle fibres

Which structure are within the digital flexor tendon sheath appears to be injured in this case?
what should be done to make this injury easier to visulise?
Manica flexoria - should hold the SDFT and DDFT close togeter with no synovial fluid between
contrast radiography - loss of tow line on the dorsal surface - see normal below

the tendon is no longer under tension

Effusions of the medial femorotibial joint and femeropatellar joints easily palpable
Horse improved 60% to anaesthesia of the medial femorotibial joint
What structure is abnormal in this case?
medial meniscus
The medial femoral condyle is also undergoing remodling
