Blood pressure medication
What family history parameter is used?
Any 1st degree relatives with diabetes
What are the score ranges for the different levels of diabetes risk?
Low = 0-6 Increased = 7-15 Moderate = 16-24 High = 25-47
What is the relative risk for low risk score of diabetes?
Low risk score = 1 in 20 risk in next 10 years
What is relative risk for increased risk score of diabetes?
Increased risk score = 1 in 10 in next 10 years
What is relative risk of moderate risk score of diabets?
Moderate risk score = 1 in 7 in next 10 years

Past medical history: vascular disease, cardiac problems
Drug history: statins, over the counter medications, allergies, recreational drugs
