A
- provide diabetes care and education to the person with diabetes and their family
- use sound judgement to advise on or develop clinical management plans for the person with diabetes
- use a collaborative approach to negotiate care/ changes in care or management plan
- actively impact evidence based knowledge in a variety of settings
they are based in secondary care
work in inpatients and out patients
