A

supporting evidence from guimond

found that cultures where there was multiculturalism lower levels of prejudice whereas cultures where there was assimilation had much higher levels of prejudice e.g. canada has the lowest levels of prejudice and shows high levels of multicukturism whereas germany shows the highest levels of prejudice and shows low levels of multiculturism.
AS is seen to be low in pro diversity and MC is seen to be high in multiculturism therefore AS linked more to prejudicede

although, research could be unethical because if results come to show that one culture is more prejudice that another puts a negative label on that culture and its not representative of everyone which might make people feel upset and labelled.

another finding is culture can cause prejudice due to social norms that have been developed

-minard found that on a mining site the social norm for below ground workers was to be friendly to al workers, 80 of the white workers were friendly to the black workers although the above ground miners social norm was to be prejudice to the black and only 20 of the white miners were friendly to the balack workers- social norm of a country can create prejudice
