4 months: lift head 90 degrees/raise up to chest, roll over, find midline, reach for objects, puts objects in mouth, coos (these are vowel sounds), and laughs, bear weught on forearms extended arms and shift, sucking on liquids and puree
Baby: baby is rolling and laughing and cooing, sucking on liquids and puree because he just discovered midline and is reaching for cake that he will cram into his mouth

you can sit at 6 months halfway to goal of standing
6 months: sit up with no head lag, raking grasp, transfer objects between hands, babbles (consonants), recognizes familiar faces, takes cereal from spoon attempts to hold bottle
Baby: sitting up on sidewalk, transferring a rake from hand to hand, takes cereal from a spoon, and then attemots to hold a water bottle, while babbling at people he thinks he recognizes

9 months: Crawl, pull to stand, point, specific babbling (mama, dada), stranger anxiety, finger feeds soft table foods
Watch Dog Baby: crawls to window, pulls to stand to see out, finger feeds soft table foods (peas,dry cereals) that were left on window ledge, points at stranger in yard and says “mama” to get attention of parents.

-irritated baby - baby dips spoon and brings food to mouth but spills it before he puts it in, and then recognizes he is wet and soiled so he pulls off shoes and socks before parents check his diaper

a child on the 1st floor of her house sits up, crawls, cruises, then 1) WALKS to stairs, 1.5) THROWS object up stairs, 2) walks up stairs one foot at at time and RUNS to his tricycle, 3) RIDES a tricycle upstairs, JUMPS off, 4) RUNS down the stairs, HOPS off the stairs and 5) SKIPS away

Sir Charming Baby: needs to get note to Rapunzel so scribbles note on paper to throw into high 4 block tower, catapult has cup on end, shoves note in with spoon, and throws note at tower, hitting Rapunzel in the face, after play she has to use restroom and sits on toilet supervised

I,” is his pickup line. realizes he needs to use the restroom jumps off his bike in the restroom and sits on toilet parents give him little assistance wiping and buttoning difficult fasteners and clothing

Bedtime Story Baby- completes all aspects of toileting and dressing I really wants story time, so runs up stairs, hops on one foot to undress, so she and mom can read a story together. A Wrinkle in Time.
