Q

Four parts of self esteem - A psychologists view

A

A sense of belonging, where we feel part of a group or community. We do not feel isolated or alone

A sense of control, where we feel that we can control our lives, the things that happen to us and the way we respond to them

A sense of worthiness, where we feel that we are deserving of good things

A sense of dignity, where we have pride and respect for ourselves and others

If any of these four areas is weak or lacking, our self esteem becomes lower
