What is the gross domestic product?
Total value of goods and services a country produces in a year. In $US per year.
What is GDP per capita?
GDP divided by the total population to show the average wealth per person.
What is the gross national income per capita?
The total value of goods and services produced by a country and companies working abroad.US$/year per person.
What is the poverty measure?
The % of people in a country living below a minimum standard.
What is the inequality measure?
The Gini coefficient measures how equally shared wealth is in a country. Inequality is shown between 0 and 100.
What is access to clean water?
The percentage of people within access to a water supply within 1km of their home.
What is literacy rate?
The percentage of people aged over 15 who can read and write a basic sentence.
What is HDI?
A score between 0 and 1 that includes a countries health, wealth and education.
What is corruption perception index?
A measure of the level of government openness. 0 is corrupt and 10 means honest government.
What is gender inequality rate?
Data showing the status of women in society. Higher the score the better.
