2) India has 12 major ports, and 20 international airports , and a huge train service which carries 8 billion passengers
3) Some large TNC’s like Coke and Microsoft have manufacturing and IT in India, bringing in jobs and taxes

A

1) In 1991, India received 2.2 billion dollars in aid from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) in exchange for changing its economic economy
2) In 2009 India made primary education free and compulsory, and now 96% of kids enrolled
3) The rail network has been upgraded and new roads and airports have been made
4) India is one of the top places in the world for Foreign Direct Investment (FDI)
