  • tropical climates make it hard for work in the middle of the day.
  • having natural resources to start off with provide a steady source for the growth of economy.
  • infertile, steep or flood common farm land
  • being landlocked as a country
  • frequency of natural hazards: governments spend money on rebuilding areas instead of furthering them.
