Cash Management

A

Cash Management allows clients to receive a yield on their cash. Similar to retail bank processes, ultimately CM helps make clients make best use of their cash and helps with payment processing.

A prominent service CM also provides is FX services to help clients send funds across borders. CM has the widest level of exposure to different world currencies and has a superior fx conversion platform relative to the rest of the banking industry.

From an independent boutique investment banking firm to the world’s largest asset manager, having these two clients showcases DB’s ability to cater to a wide range of needs and deliver tailored solutions to a variety of clients.

Forte was straightforward and candid

I am less candid, more tactful and thoughtful of how I give out information

I would’ve approached the client with why his goal was not attainable, citing important details

Forte went straight in telling the client he had to keep working or else his goal was impossible

was able to give Forte notes ahead of time, to find compromise and adapt

Had to present info on the recent election - lot of information to process

Had to cross-check info in the presentation and that on the internet

It was important because our investment thesis depended on the information I provided

Since visit, working at Deutsche was a long time goal

took many steps to get here from:
- reaching out to analysts, associates, recruiters
- pursuing a high GPA
- taking licensing exams
- doing research on the CB
