A

A contradiction of two opposing words with different meaning contradicting each other. Eg. The bittersweet bliss of getting a divorce seems unreal to cathy.

This is the use of symbols to represent something. Eg The parrot was a good representation for Jovan. ( He speaks alot like a parrot)

Use of words to imply the opposite meaning. Eg. A lifegurad drowns during a swimming competition.

A

The repetition of vowel sounds in a sentence. Eg. Alice ate a rosey apple in an autumn eve.

A

An indirect remark about someone or something usually suggesting something rude or bad. Eg. I’ve found a way to get ‘extra help’ on the test.

A

A question that doe not require an answer because the answer is already known. Eg. Who here would like to be denied freedom?
