Obtain a biopsy. Steroids do not actually appear to be helpful.

A
Tazarotene is contraindicated in pregnancy. Can actually hypothetically use tretinoin.

A
Lesion is similar to systemic sclerosis but only 1 or 2 and located on the trunk and limbs

A
Red papules on the chest, flanks and back that may become itchy with heat and sweating.

Treatment of psorasis
A
- topical steroids are okay, DO NOT use systemic (can cause erythrodermic psoriasis)
- > 5% of body can use phototherapy
- MTX, cyclosporin, sulfasaline or etancerpt are other treatment options and help with joint symptoms

Pemphigus vulgaris
A
- intracellular IgA deposits at epidermal surface
- flaccid bullae
- subset of patients with lymphoma or CLL

Bullous pemphigoid
A
- linear IgG deposits at basement membrane
- TENSE bullae
- no oral or genital involvement

Lentigo maligna
A
- light brown patch on face or upper trunk, can invade the epidermis
- only melanoma that can do thin shave biopsy

A
if > 1 mm thick

Erythrasma
A
Red to bornw lesion. Sometimes it can be a bit itchy. Bright coral pink fluorescence with Wood Lamp
