Q

How to make Chromatography accurate

A
  • Put pencil line higher than solvent to stop it from touching the solvent
  • amino acids further away to stop from merging
  • don’t touch plate to avoid contamination
  • support plate to keep it vertical
  • repeat and find mean
  • label for easy identification

Q

Diastole

A

Atria/ventricular diastole

  • atria relax
  • ventricles relax
  • atrioventricular valves open more

Q

Atrial systole

A
  • atria contract
  • pressure in atria increases
  • atrioventricular valves open/ semi-lunar closes
  • more blood enters ventricles
  • volume of ventricles increases
  • pressure of blood against ventricles increases
