Disinfect the denture first, then with a gloved finger, rub it over the denture and check for any sharp or any rough areas and adjust

Then add pressure indicating paste and insert the denture, patient will mention if anything feels wrong

Fit - is it comfy, do the rests fit properly or stand proud?

Stability - does it rock or wobble

Occlusion - any occlusal interference

Speech - will be altered at first, any excess saliva?
