Underbite: 1st maxillary molar too far back
Cross-bite
lateral misalignment of dental arches
Typical post-surgery (tension/collapse of arches)
Open-bite
front and bottom incisors do not meet at occlusion
can be cause by tongue thrust
can have posterior open-bite (molars do not meet at occlusion)
