тот, та, то, те - that/those - smt that is remote in space or time
такой, такая, такое, такие - such, this kind, same as

2) тот, та, те can mean ‘‘the one/the ones’’ and то can mean ‘‘that/what’’ in which case they carry additional emphasis, may emphasize contrast
Тот, кто хочет пойти, пусть идёт. - The one who wants to go, may go.
То, что вы сказали, я уже знаю. - What you said, I already know.

3) Такой же - used to express sameness
Точно такой же - ‘‘exactly the same’’
