Situation Central Lab is constantly working to bring new testing equipment that will offer competitive advantages.

Action
I dentified euipment that would improve the speed of testing UV Sabilizers for Turf. and conducted trails and presented the data to our Turf Team. We were all in agreement to recommend purchase.

I provided a summary paper to Yarn, Turf, R&D, and Turf leadership asking for their sponsorship. .

Results

With the sponsership by the leaders, we were able to purchase the equipment.

Without the leaders buy in it may not have been approved

I have found in my area that compelling data is the key influence people.

Company was having sidematch problems, I recommend a different dyeing process the would improve the sidematch problem.

Action

I produced trials that proved my idea and the idea was approved and orderd.

I orgainize 3 months of runs, and made mondifications to the machiney as needed, and held sidematch audits every day.

Results
I was able to show with compelling evidence that the new system produced excellent sidemathc results. The trail unit was purchased and within a year more units orderd. Sidemathc claims were reduced by more than half.
