A

Study of populations
Statistics that aim to analyze changes in population trends
Statistics of population characteristics such as age, income, birth rate, death rate.

How is information gathered?

A

Through a census that collects demographic factors associated with every member of the population.
Canada conducts a census every five years.
Statistics Canada puts together all the information together for the public to see.
