Muslims
One who has submitted to the will of Allah
Tawhid
- The belief in the oneness and unity of Allah.
- Allah is the creator of everything.
- Allah has the best names and qualities and Allah is the only one who has the right to be worshipped.
- humble attitude because they depend on Allah
Shirk
It is forbidden in Islam and is the worst sin of all, putting someone or something above or equal to Allah, to give created beings and things Allah’s names and attributes and to believe that others share Allah’s control and rule over the creation.
Shari’a
A legal system that comes from the religious rules of Islam.
Predestination
The idea that everything that happens has been decided already by God.
Imam
- a person who leads communal prayer
* A successor of Muhammad which is from his bloodline to lead Shia muslims.
Caliph
A successor of Muhammad as the spiritual leader of Islam, sunnis follow them.
Why Sunni Muslims don’t believe in Imams
In their eyes Abu bakr was the rightful successor of Muhammad therefore they don’t believe that Muhammad successor had to be from the bloodline of him.
Why Muhammed is unique
Muhammad is the final profit therefore he has the name the seal of the profits and he was the one who got given the Quran, The only words of Allah untouched by humans.
