abnormal uterine bleeding
normal = 21-35 day cycles, variation of cycle length <7 days, duration <5-7 days, volume <80 cc or disruptive to patient’s life; abnormal if not within these categories +/or intermenstrual bleeding
Endometrial polyp
localized hyperplastic overgrowth of endometrial gland and stroma around a vascular core
chorionic villi
in the second week of placental development, a layer of syncytiotrophoblast with a core of cytotrophoblast evaginates into the lacunar space to form primary mesenchymal villi. With further development, they acquire an inner core of embryonic mesoderm

Pelvic pain
acute pelvic pain is generally lower abdominal or pelvic that has lasted less than three months
Myoma
noncancerous monoclonal tumors arising from the smooth muscle cells and fibroblasts of the myometrium
