The extent in which results apply to different populations
Exposure
Dose to a specific risk factor
Incidence
The number of new cases of a conditions developing in a population

The ratio of occurrence of a disease among exposed people compared to non-exposed
Prevalence
The number of cases of a disease in a population at a given time
Secondary prevention
Disease in risk mortality and mobility in patients with existing disease
