Q

Define Human Capital

A

Human capital is the value of knowledge, skills, and capabilities of the employees of an organization. They are intangible and do not show up on the balance sheet as an asset, but they have a definite impact on the performance of an organization. Unlike buildings and machines, the organization does not own human capital; the employees themselves own it, and they take it with them if they leave an organization.
