rigid body position as result of loss of cerebral control of spinal reflexes- usually intracranial catastrophy-arms stiff and ext, forearms pronated, exaggerated DTR
decerebrate
paralysis affecting one side of body
hemiplegia
paralysis of the lower portion of the body and legs
paraplegia
complete paralysis of body from neck down
quadriplegia
greatly reduced lvl of consciousness- only arousable c/ strong stimulus
obtundation
excessive daytime sleepyness
