The thing that doesn’t change! A Constant.

- a variable that is manipulated to determine the value of a ‘Dependent Variable’.

A teacher wishes to compare the number of students wearing black with the number of students wearing pink:-
In this scenario, clothing colour is the ‘INDEPENDENT VARIABLE’
The number of students taking part is the ‘DEPENDENT VARIABLE’.
