Work Authorization System
(Tool) subsystem of the project mgmt system. documents defining how work will be authorized to ensure work is done at the right time in the proper sequence

critical chain method
using resource dependencies to determine critical path - then use buffers working backwards from delivery date
resource levelling
resource that can only do 1 activity at a time. if it is busy doing sth on the critical path - critical path must change to accomodate resource assignments
