What is Accessibility?
How easy it is to travel to a place or interact with an individual.
What is Agriculture Based Regeneration?
The focus of regenerating local farms to help farmers gain more revenue.
This can be done by creating farm shops, building reputation and creating farm attractions.
What is amenity value?
The value of a resource to locals and businesses. E.g beaches, timber, coal.
What is a built environment?
The buildings and infrastructure within an urban area.
What is Capital?
Productive assets, goods or financial stakes.
What is a CBD?
A ‘Central Business District’
The centre of a city, containing a high density of businesses and TNC headquarters.
What is a Council Estate?
A place consisting only of social housing, with tenants on subsidised rent.
What is Counter Urbanisation?
An increase in the proportion of a population living within rural areas, due to migration from urban areas to rural areas.
What is Cultural Enrichment?
The addition of ideas, traditions and beliefs due to the arrival of new people.
What is Cultural Erosion?
The loss of culture, resulting in a change in ideas or disregard for traditions.
What does Culture mean?
The way of life of a particular group of people at a particular time, generally customs and beliefs.
