definition basic part 2 Flashcards
Enterprise architecture
defines basic standards, structures, transportation pathways.
Enterprise Service Bus (ESB)
a standards-based integration platform combining messaging, web services, data transformation and dynamic routing.
Governance
organizing principles and rules that determine how an organization should behave
continuous delivery
the ability to get changes of all types into production, or into the hands of users, safely and quickly in a sustainable way.
burn down chart
a graphical representation of work left to do VS time. The outstanding work (or backlog) is often the vertical axis, with time along the horizontal. That is, it is a run chart of outstanding work. It is useful for predicant when all of the work will be completed.
Scrum
an agile way to manage a project, usually software development.
Agile software development with Scrum is often perceived as a methodology; but rather than viewing Scrum as methodology, think of it as a framework for managing a process.
Product backlog
Sprint backlog
Agents
a computer system that is capable of independent/autonomous action on behalf of its user or owner (figuring out what needs to be done to satisfy design objectives, rather than constantly being told)
Multi agent systems
consists of a number of agents which interact with one-another. To interact successfully, the ability to cooperate, coordinate and negotiate with each other is required (as people do)
Digital twins
a virtual representation that serves as the real-time digital counterpart of a physical object or process
Robot
a system that can perceive its environment through its sensors and generates actions using its end effectors to accomplish a variety of task
Human Factors Engineering (HFE)
a discipline concerned with the design of tools, machines and systems that take into account human capabilities, limitations, and characteristics. The goals are to design for safe, comfortable and effective human use
Human Computer interaction (HCI)
a multidisciplinary field of study focusing on the design of computer technology and, in particular, the interaction between humans (the users) and computers
Mental model
a collection of thought processes and memories about how something works
Conceptual model
actual model that is given to the person through design and interface of the actual product.
User experience (UX)
a person’s perceptions and responses that result from the use or anticipated use of a product, system or service
User experience (UX) design
a field about focusing on the core needs, goals and expectations of the end users of any product
Usability
the effectiveness, efficiency and satisfaction with which specified users achieve specified goals in particular environments
Usability problem
a set of negative phenomena, such as user’s inability to reach goal, inefficient interaction and/or user’s dissatisfaction, caused by a combination of user interface design factors and factors of usage context.
Multi store memory model
The human memory works a lot like a computer in 3 stages.
SKR (skills, rules & knowledge) model
people operate at 3 levels of control
* Knowledge based
* Rule based
* Skills based
7 stages of action
