Natural law
A moral theory based on reason and the idea that humans have an inherent purpose (telos) guiding their moral decisions

Independent of personal feelings or opinions; often linked to absolute moral truths

In situation ethics, the idea that morality should prioritise people rather than rules
Personhood
The status of a being that affords them moral value
Positivism
The belief that faith or ethical principles should be accepted voluntarily rather than proven through reason
