Declaration of Independence Thesis Flashcards

Q

Thesis for Declaration of Independence

A

The two main arguments made by the Declaration of Independence are that (1) people are born with certain unalienable rights such as life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, and (2) all rich, white, cis-gendered, heterosexual, land-owning, able-bodied, and able-minded men are created equal-> none of them should have more rights than the other unless elected by the common people that way.
