The basic rights section says that colonist have basic rights that can not be taken away

The wrongs of the king is a section telling all the bad things the king has done

The conclusion says that the colonies are now free and independent country.
Importance of the declaration
The delegates knew that signing the declaration was dangerous. Because it was a treason( fighting there own government) but they still signed it anyway
