What is Endeavor Air?
A regional airline in the United States.
What is inflight learning?
Training and educational programs conducted during flights.
What are placards?
Instructional signs posted in the aircraft (i.e. exit signs, door operation instructions for exit row windows, etc.).
What is a Pre-Departure Report?
Paperwork provided to the Flight Attendant by the gate agent before passenger boarding.
What is a preflight check or inspection?
A check performed by Flight Attendants to ensure emergency equipment and specific aircraft systems are in proper working order.
What is Protective Breathing Equipment (PBE)?
A breathing apparatus that provides an environment safe from toxic smoke and fumes while fighting a fire.
What is a ramp?
Area where airplanes park outside of the terminal.
What is a reserve Flight Attendant?
A Flight Attendant whose month consists of predetermined periods of availability for flight duty; available on-call.
What does revenue refer to in the context of airlines?
Customers on a paid fare.
What is a revision?
Updated or revised information to the Flight Attendant Manual which must be read.
What does RON stand for?
Remain Overnight.
What is a safety demonstration?
A pre-departure briefing designed to identify how to use specified emergency equipment.
What are safety information cards?
Cards located in each seat pocket which illustrate and explain what to do during an emergency.
What does it mean to secure?
To lock up, latch, or stow.
