Soul is capable of surviving the physical death of a body.
In terms of resurrection and reincarnation what do Christian believe?
They reject reincarnation and the believe that there will be a renewal of the body in the afterlife that’s why there typically buried rather than cremated
Why do Christians believe in resurrection?
JESUS, his death after three days it was found that his tomb was empty (important belief) and then he came back this highlights his resurrection.

Mary Magdalene was unable to recognize Jesus which raises questions on will the renewed body be a different one from the earthly one
