Potal hypertension and its signs (ascites, collateral circulation, caput medusa etc)

- Inflammation of liver parenchyma without necrosis or fibrosis and scarring of liver tissue
- Inflammation, necrosis, fibrosis and scarring
Objective exam
Enlarged liver with normal liver shape
Liver decreased in size, may palpate nodules and change in liver shape
clinical picture
More quick to appear and severe at onset
Less quick, progressively severe
