Writers attitude or feeling about his/her subject
Tone
Common thread or repeated idea that is incorporated throughout a literary work. It’s the thought or idea the author presents to the reader about life or human nature.
Theme
Dramatic work that presents the downfall of a dignified character or characters who are involved in historically or socially significant events.
Tragedy
Statement that is restrained in ironic contrast to what might have been said; opposite of the hyperbole, usually used for humor
Understatement
Contemporary story that is told in many rumored versions that have little basis in fact
Urban Legend
An author or narrator’s distinctive style or manner of expression, can revel much about the author or narrator’s personality.
