distinctive pattern of metrical structure and verse composition in which two words have only their final constant sounds and no preceding vowel or constant sounds in common
Slant Rhyme Near Rhyme Half Rhyme Off Rhyme Imperfect Rhyme Oblique Rhyme Pararhyme
pattern of end rhyme used in a poem, generally indicated by matching lowercase letters to show which lines rhyme
Rhyme Scheme
refers to pattern of flow of sounds created by the arrangement of stressed and unstressed syllables in a line of poetry

use of praise to mock someone or something; use of mockery or verbal irony
