What is the stimulus?
Infra is latin for below and the work shows the life beneath the surface of the city.
What is the choreographic intent?
It is about seeing below the surface and how you can infer certain relationships. He wanted to help the ausience to see the complex structure.
How many dancers are there?
12 dancers-6 make and 6 female
What are the costumes?
They wear fitted shorts, vests, t-shirts in flesh, black, white and grey. One female dancer wears a skirt and one male wears long trousers. The females wear pointe shoes amd street clothes are worn for a brief time,
What is the lighting?
The lighting lights the width of the stage and focuses downnstage. Occasionally the dancers are lit by shafts ld light and at one point 6 rectangles of light frame 6 duets. The coulours highlight different sections.
