What are the things to do/check during the pre-trip walk around inspection?
- general condition of cab and body
- Check cab and compartment door latches and hinges
- look under apparatus
- Check all tires and rims
- Check mirrors

Damage/dents to body, paint, mirrors, lens, etc.

Operating properly Loose screws Mounting bolts (Lube with lithium grease for door latches) Spray silicone for hinges

Fresh oil
Coolant
Grease
Fuel leaks
What do you look for when checking all tires and rims?
Cuts Low air pressure Cracked rim Loose lug nuts Tread depth (wear bar)
