What happened in March 1939?
A
At the invitation of president Hacha, Hitler’s troops occupied the rest of Czechoslovakia.

Why couldn’t Britain and France do much about the invasion?
A
Hitler hadn’t technically invaded, as he was invited.

Why was the invasion significant for Britain?
A
For the first time Hitler had taken lands which were not racially German. The extent of his ambitions were becoming clear.
