Q

What is a diagnostic for CML? How do you treat it? What is notable in its histology?

A
  • Genotype t(9,22) -Tyrosine Kinase Inhibitor such as gleevec (if its chronic you are going to be TIRED of SEEING the illness)

Q

How does CMA work?

A

Single stranded target DNA probes are put on a chip. Patient DNA is then introduced and regions with deletions/duplications can be detected.

Reads are then gathered and interpreted by computers.
